Why the Desktop Valuation?

Since 2021 it is possible, under certain conditions, to finance up to 90% of the purchase price of a home based on a Desktop Valuation. This offers great advantages for both consumers and mortgage lenders, as it is delivered within four hours, and a visit to the home is not necessary. Moreover, this hybrid valuation is considerably cheaper than a regular home appraisal, which benefits consumers. The Desktop Valuation is recognized and used by most mortgage providers.

Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) combined with the knowledge of a local appraiser ensures a fast, objective and accurate valuations homes. The Desktop Valuation is a remote appraisal, and in addition to very accurate market values of individual homes, it also provides detailed information such as the cadastral map, the title deed, the energy certificate and architectural features of the home.

When determining a market value our advanced Automated Valuation Model (AVM) is used, which is based on a large number of characteristics of comparable houses.
